1. Purchase a silk or woolen red thread

2. Measure the required length

3. Cut the thread
Using scissors, cut the thread to the measured length.

4. Prepare the thread
At this stage you should have one solid strand. Smooth it out so there are no twists.

5. Make a knot at each end
Make a knot at both ends of the thread. one knot at a time, but their don't tighten it yetThey will be needed for fastening.

6. Check the form
The thread should now be ready to form a bracelet – both ends knotted and the middle loose.

7. Thread one end of the thread through the knot on the other side
Insert the end of one side through the knot of the opposite side. Do this with both ends of the threadto form a sliding clamping mechanism.


8. Tighten both knots
When both ends are threaded through the knots, tighten the knots, but not too much – this will create adjustable thread bracelet.

9. The bracelet is ready!
Now you have a stylish, handmade red thread bracelet with adjustable sizeIt can be easily put on and taken off, adjusted to the wrist or even worn as an anklet.
